Shara Dueck, Tamara Palmer, Shauna Funk and I have booked space for us at Camp Arnes this weekend. This is the first time in almost 20 years that a family camp has been planned, so it’s quite exciting. We have 16 “hotel style” rooms book, a common room, pool time, outdoor activities, and all our meals prepared for us. And since it’s the first Family Camp in a while, we’ve decided that we’re going to call the weekend a success regardless of our numbers. The four of us will be getting together in the New Year to plan more details, including how to best ensure that cost isn’t a barrier to anybody coming. But starting in January, we’re going to have to start getting confirmations so we can figure out if we need more or less rooms than what Camp Arnes has reserved for us. So mark the weekend down and get ready for a great time!
